Privacy Policy

UsePDFQuick provides free, browser-based PDF tools. This policy explains what happens to your files and what little data we collect when you use the site. The short version: the files you work with are processed entirely on your own device and are never sent to our servers.

Tools like Merge PDF run using client-side JavaScript in your browser. When you upload a PDF, it is read and processed locally on your device — it is never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any UsePDFQuick server. We do not have access to the content, metadata, or file names of the documents you process, and we cannot see them even if we wanted to.

Closing the tab or navigating away discards everything in memory. There is no server-side copy to delete, because one was never created.

UsePDFQuick does not require an account, so we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details for using the tools. When enabled, we use privacy-conscious analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage — for example, which tools are used and how often — so we can improve the product. This analytics data is anonymized/aggregated usage data and never includes the contents of any file you process.

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visits. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so does not affect your ability to use any UsePDFQuick tool.

We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics for aggregate usage insights and a hosting provider to serve the website itself. These providers do not receive the content of any file you upload or process, since that content never leaves your browser.

Because file processing happens entirely client-side, we have no file content to retain or delete. Any aggregate analytics data is retained only as long as necessary to understand product usage trends, in line with the retention settings of the analytics provider.

UsePDFQuick is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as UsePDFQuick evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
